Spokane County — Spokane Regional Health District

The Spokane Regional Health District, not the Northeast Tri County Health District, regulates on-site sewage in Spokane County. Read the Spokane County page, then the neighborhood pages for Deer Park (the Stevens County line runs through some Deer Park mailing addresses) and Elk and Chattaroy. Sellers should use the transfer checklist. Other places the Spokane page discusses, without their own URL: Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, Medical Lake, Nine Mile Falls, and Newman Lake.

Stevens County — Northeast Tri County Health District

Colville and Kettle Falls and Chewelah and Loon Lake. The district list is netchd.org/230/Septic-Contractors.

Newport, Cusick, Usk, and the lake communities. Homes on the Idaho side of the river at Oldtown are on the Priest River page.

Ferry County — Northeast Tri County Health District

Ferry County follows the same Northeast Tri County Health District list as Stevens and Pend Oreille counties: Septic contractors.
